Today she runs the Seller Carryback Accelerator, a program that teaches entrepreneurs how to acquire real estate using seller finance structures most investors never learn to negotiate. She lives by two rules: work hard & bless more. Everything she does is in service of one goal: to touch a billion people before she dies.

When she isn't closing deals or coaching clients, she's hanging out with family, playing games, or traveling somewhere new.

As the founder of HireVP, Scott helps business owners hire high-quality Virtual Professionals and build dependable teams rooted in ownership, accountability, and long-term fit. His work sits at the intersection of leadership, team building, and capacity, helping founders create companies that grow with more clarity, more trust, and less dependence on the founder at the center.

Scott speaks on hiring, leadership, founder dependency, and the ongoing tension between building a business and being fully present at home.

TOM
CZYZ
Founder & CEO,
Armoured One

On December 14, 2012, the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary changed the course of school safety in America. For Tom Czyz, a father, husband to a schoolteacher, former SWAT operator, homicide detective, and nationally recognized active shooter expert, that moment became a lifelong mission to prevent school violence.

Tom is the founder of Armoured One and ONE Training, companies dedicated to helping schools, law enforcement, businesses, and government leaders prevent, respond to, and survive active shooter attacks. Since founding Armoured One, Tom and his team have investigated over sixty K-12 school attacks and have written detailed debrief reports used by school leaders, politicians, architects, law enforcement agencies, and government entities, including the FBI.

Armoured One has grown to approximately 100 employees and now operates in all 50 states, providing school security assessments, active-shooter training, security glass, window film, and life-saving strategies designed to slow attackers and speed up law enforcement response.

Tom is also a best-selling Amazon author in school safety and security, known for his book Staying One Step Ahead: Ending the Story of Active Shooter in America’s Schools. BRAD
FULLKERSON
Founder, SOF Legion LLC

Over the course of a 25-year military career—16 of those years in Special Operations—Brad Fulkerson developed a clear pattern: moving toward challenge rather than away from it. Not out of obligation, but from a belief that real growth rarely happens in familiar territory. Each step forward brought greater complexity, higher expectations, and more uncertainty. Over time, that became the point.

After transitioning from the military in 2023, Brad wasn’t looking to replicate what came before—he was looking for the next challenge. Following a brief period as a government contractor, he stepped into an executive role with Christensen Arms as the Chief Product Officer. The transition proved more natural than expected. Many of the lessons forged over years in Special Operations carried over directly—particularly the importance of disciplined execution, strong culture, and hiring the right people, then trusting them to do their job.

In January 2026, Brad took on a new challenge, founding SOF Legion LLC. Building a company from the ground up meant stepping once again into the unknown—this time in a different arena, but with familiar principles. It reinforced something he had seen throughout his career: environments change, but the fundamentals of leadership and performance do not.

Outside of his professional work, Brad’s life is anchored by his family. He and his wife, Jada, have been married for nearly 22 years and are raising two children, a daughter in college and a son in high school. Now based in Utah, they’ve embraced life as recent transplants, drawn to the landscape, the pace, and the perspective it brings.
That same perspective continues to shape how Brad approaches leadership today, helping others navigate complexity, stay grounded in what matters, and perform when it counts.

Chase Griffin
Operator & Investor,
Car Wash Industry & Commercial Real Estate

Chase Griffin is an experienced operator and investor with a background in commercial real estate and the car wash industry. He has over 15 years of hands-on experience and is a third-generation car wash professional. As the former CEO of Sky Blue Chemical, a leading chemical company specializing in the car wash space, he led the company through significant increases in revenue and profitability, opened new divisions, and expanded core business lines. His real estate track record includes land development and multifamily investments.

Today, Chase is exclusively focused on the car wash industry, building a portfolio and brand within the space by leveraging his deep operational knowledge, vertically integrated resources, and multi-generational family legacy. Chase holds an MS in Business Information Systems from the University of Utah, serves as an infantry officer in the Utah Army National Guard, and is a proud father of two.

CHRISTIE THOMPSON
Founder & Managing Partner, Azul Capital Partners

Christie Thompson built her career where most deal-makers never set foot — inside the operations.

Over 15 years, she managed business units from $15M to $150M in revenue inside Fortune 500 companies, owning the P&L, managing the team, and living through acquisition and integration cycles from the inside out. She didn’t study rollups. She ran them.

Today, Christie is the Founder and Managing Partner of Azul Capital Partners, where she acquires and consolidates MEP — mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — service businesses from retiring baby boomer founders across the United States. She is currently under contract on her anchor acquisition, a Long Island mechanical contractor, with a planned close in late May or early June 2026.

Her model is simple and rare: operator-led acquisition. She embeds 30 to 120 days post-close, preserves technician culture, retains skilled staff, and builds the infrastructure that transforms owner-dependent businesses into institutional-grade enterprises worth multiples of what they sold for.

Christie speaks, builds, and closes — in that order.

Elliot Witmer
Pinnacle Business Guide,
Pinnacle

With over 30 years in federal IT contracting, Elliot has built a career on solving complexity, driving results, and leading teams through high-stakes, large-scale projects.

Along the way, he earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and became known as an Agile Methodology subject-matter expert. He’s taken on strategic planning challenges, navigated complex problem solving, and overseen program management across diverse technical environments. His success in the public sector laid a foundation of discipline, precision, and adaptability.

Beyond his government work, Elliot spent more than a decade owning and operating his own business. That period sharpened his skills in leadership, operations, financial discipline, and customer-focus. It taught him not just what makes a business work, but how to scale, pivot, and maintain purpose under pressure. It was here that he discovered the deep value of mentorship, coaching, and empowering others—both employees and peers—to achieve their best.

Elliot’s passion for guiding others eventually led him to become a Pinnacle Business Guide. At Pinnacle, Guides are not just coaches, but partners in the climb—helping businesses grow along the five foundational principles: People, Purpose, Playbooks, Performance, and Profit. His decades of experience make him uniquely positioned to help business owners clarify vision, streamline operations, build resilient teams, and scale in ways that are sustainable.

What sets Elliot apart are the philosophies he lives and leads by: “Love the journey”; “It’s never the wrong time to do the right thing”; and “Embrace a lifetime of learning.” These beliefs shape his approach as a guide—reminding leaders that growth is not only about reaching new heights, but about how they climb, who they bring with them, and the wisdom they gain along the way. As a Pinnacle Guide, Elliot is committed to walking alongside entrepreneurs and leaders, sharing lessons learned, facilitating clarity, and helping uncover hidden opportunity.

Jeff Newland
Owner,
Bold Commercial Construction

Jeff Newland is the owner of Bold Commercial Construction, a commercial general contracting firm based in Longview, Texas. He has a background in commercial construction leadership, including building and scaling multi-state car wash construction programs, tenant improvements, retail projects, cannabis facilities, and other private commercial work.

Jeff’s focus is building a company that runs on clear systems, strong communication, and repeat-client relationships instead of simply chasing low-bid work. He is especially interested in strategic partnerships, operational scaling, SOP-driven execution, and using technology to create better visibility for owners and project teams.

He enjoys connecting with other business owners who are focused on growth, accountability, and building companies that can operate beyond the owner.

She brings a grounded, loving presence to her family, encouraging her children and those around her to live with strength, independence, and purpose.

She sees beauty in life, in people, and in the details of art and architecture, and she loves transforming properties into spaces that feel warm, meaningful, and alive. Whether shaping a home, a business idea, or a moment with her kids, Kathryn leads with heart, resilience, and an unshakable belief that beauty and opportunity can always be created from wherever you begin.

Todd Volling
Owner,
Stray Voltage LLC

Todd Volling is the owner of Stray Voltage LLC, an electrical and commercial contracting company specializing in wireless telecommunications and cell tower construction, headquartered in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

A licensed master electrician and electrical contractor in 25 states, Todd built Stray Voltage from a side hustle in 1991 into a full-time operation by 1995 — growing it into a respected field-forward company with projects spanning across the US. Known for a hands-on leadership style and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and team culture, he has spent over
35 years earning a reputation for getting the job done and building the people around him.

Outside the business, Todd is a devoted husband of 33 years and a man of serious passions. A lifelong resident of the Kenosha, Wisconsin area, he is an avid collector of exotic and high-performance automobiles and takes those machines where they belong — on the track and at the drag strip. He is also a dedicated watch enthusiast with a carefully curated watch collection decades in the making.

Todd brings the same precision and standards he demands on a job site to every pursuit — whether that’s running a crew, building a company, or chasing tenths of a second.

what happens here

01

The
Compound
Effect

The longer you are here, the more valuable being here becomes. The people around you know your business. They know what you are building and what you are working through. Trust deepens. Conversations sharpen. Opportunities start to surface that could not have existed earlier because the relationships were not there yet. This is not a room you outgrow. It is a room that grows with you.

02

The
Connection

A market you have spent a year trying to crack opens in one conversation because someone at the table already has the relationship you need. The kind of access that would take years to build on your own happens because you are in the right room.

03

The Decision

You bring something to the room before you commit. An acquisition, a partnership, a bet you are about to make. The blind spot you did not know you had becomes obvious. You either move forward with real confidence or you walk away before it costs you.

04

The Shortcut

Someone in the room has already lived through the exact problem you are navigating right now. The lesson that would have taken you 18 months and an expensive mistake takes one conversation instead.

05

The
Standard

The people around you are building at a level that raises your own. Not because anyone tells you to do more. Because when you are surrounded by people operating at that caliber, you stop tolerating the things you used to accept in your own business.

06

The Friendships

You meet someone here who becomes the person you talk to every week about the things nobody else in your life fully understands. Business, family, the weight of it. It becomes the most valuable relationship you have built in years, and you were not looking for it.

07

Key talent

The role you have been trying to fill for months gets filled because someone in the room already knows the right person. Not a recruiter. Not a job board. A trusted introduction from someone who has been in your exact situation.
